OVERGROWING OF NATURE

In Chatillon Forest (Südbelgien) sind verrotte Autowracks amerikanischer Soldaten aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zu sehen. Dieser Autofriedhof wurde in Kürze von Moos, Pilzen und Farn überwuchert. In dieser Serie hebe ich hervor, mit welcher Kraft und Schnelligkeit die Vegetation in Wäldern voranschreitet.

 In Chatillon Forest (southern Belgium), rotting car wrecks of American soldiers from the Second World War can be seen. This car graveyard was soon overgrown by moss, mushrooms and ferns. In this series, I emphasize the power and speed with which vegetation progresses in forests.
